vi 에디터로 잘 열리지 않을 때

 

 

현상 :

 

vi 에디터로 파일을 열었을 때 다음과 같은 메시지가 나올 때

 

$ vi test.log
cputty: Unknown terminal type
I don't know what kind of terminal you are on - all I have is 'cputty'.
[Using open mode]

 

 

해결책 :

 

.profile 또는 .bash_profile에 다음과 같은 환경변수 추가후 적용

$ vi .profile

TERM=xterm; export TERM

$ . .profile
